“On The BEach”

One of my favorite weekend adventures is to head to a warehouse sale, antique market or farmer’s market. Last spring, I went to Found Rental Co. Warehouse Sale and snagged this one of a kind painting. It is titled “On The Beach” and was painted in Florida. This piece reminds me of my family in the Sunshine State, my love for the water and my coastal inspired style. Buying new is exciting, yet there is something special about finding one of a kind pieces. Luckily enough Found Rental Co. has another upcoming warehouse sale.

Over the last few years I have been to a variety of different warehouse sales, wholesalers and antique markets. I generally get there before the opening when I know there will be a crowd. It is always good to bring a friend or family member to accompany you in line and to snag all the goodies. Prep before is just as important. If you are looking for a larger piece to fit a space it’s a good idea to measure and have it written in the Notes of your phone. If you are looking to buy smaller pieces like glassware or decor, I recommend bringing a basket or bag with you. Also make sure to have space in your car or ask about delivery or hold options.

Some of my favorite places to shoppe and keep a close eye on for sales:

Found Rental Co. - Fullerton, CA

RJ Imports - San Juan Capistrano, CA

Long Beach Antique Market

There are often Interior Designers who have warehouse sales to clear out old inventory to make room for new. If you follow them on social, it is likely that once a year they will have a big sale.
