Emily Overstreet: Home

Hey all,
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for being so patient and encouraging as the new album is being recorded. I am more excited than ever about this project. Let me tell you a little bit about where it's going as of now:

I've been recording with Jordan Richter at his home studio in SE Portland for a little over a month now. He is an amazingly gifted guy. We have gotten some really great musicians to play on this album so far, and it's not even done yet. I can only imagine what the finishing touches will be like. This album is very earthy, and eclectic--just like it should be. We are working very hard on it and can't wait to let you hear a song or two! There will probably be more news tidbits as the release date becomes more clear.

A lot of people are looking forward to Nik Fury's newest project coming out called "Lights, Camera, Accident". The party starts at 7 PM on Nov. 3rd at Cosmic Pizza when Nik will unleash his captivating stage presence and his new album! Join Jordan Beckett and I as we get the night started!

If you weren't able to make it to the Phil Wickham show, well...I am so sorry! I had so much fun and Phil just blew us out of the water. I think everyone liked my set quite a bit too! Thanks to everyone who made it out! I think there were at least four hundred people there!
